Soft play rentals are a popular choice for children’s birthday parties and other events, but did you know that they can also be a fun and unique addition to your wedding reception? I wish I had that option when I was getting married. 😊 If you’re looking for a way to keep kids entertained and create a family friendly atmosphere at your wedding, our softplay could be the perfect solution!

Here are some tips for incorporating a soft play rental into your wedding reception:

  1. Choose the right equipment - We offer a variety of packages that come in different sizes and equipment. You’ll want to choose a package that is appropriate for the age range of the children who will be attending your wedding. Our packages include a recommended age range, so you don’t have to worry about choosing the right equipment! For example our Crawler package is appropriate for ages under 2, however our large ball pit is appropriate for kids up to 10 years old. Safety is our top priority so don’t mix older and younger kids in the same area.
  2. Create a designated play area - Create a separate area for the play equipment so that kids can play without getting in the way of the other guests. All of our packages come with a fence to keep kids safely inside. Depending on the size of your venue, we may be able to set up in a separate room or outside. If space is limited, create a small area within the reception space.
  3. Decorate the play area - Decorating the soft play area with balloons or other decorations to make it more festive! We can work with you to make your vision come to life!
  4. Provide snacks and drinks - Kids are sure to work up an appetite playing in our soft pay area, so be sure to have some kid friendly snacks and drinks. You could set up a small table near the play area, or include the snacks as part of the main reception menu. However, please do not allow food and drinks inside the play area.
  5. Supervision is a must - We do not stay and supervise the children after setup. Hiring someone to supervise the children is a smart idea that can give parents some peace of mind.
